Another amazing buy from Amazon - saving myself over £60.00’s over Comet’s RRP!!!!
The TV itself is very asthetically pleasing but if I have one niggle over it’s looks, it’s that it has half a dozen little emblems (HDMI / DiVx etc) painted in white along the bottom of the screen..Why??? I can never understand why manufacturers do this. Other than that it’s reasonably slim, with a lovely glossy black colour and very little in the way of border (ie no off-putting 3″ of plastic surrounding the screen).
The tv attached seemlessly to my Vogels 6105 wall bracket without the need for futher brackets.
Function wise, it tuned itself in less than 2 minutes and I would describe the picture quality as very good. You can adjust to your own liking but I find the default setting meets my needs. I have good digital reception where I live so the actual broadcasted image quality is superb. It sounds very good to. The built-in DVD player is very good, with very little in the way of noise coming from it.
The menus are easy to navigate and intuitive. My only complaint is that as you scroll the EPG the tv channel changes. This means if you’re looking to see what’s on, say, Film 4, if you’re already watching BBC1, you skip through the channels as you make your way to Film 4’s position. This is a bit frustrating if you’re listening to something whilst browsing the EPG. Does that make sense???
Overall I give this tv 4 stars. Mine’s for the bedroom and it’s perfect for that. It would be great for a kitchen, conservatory or the kid’s playroom!! I think the person who rated it 1 star has just been unlucky.

I bought this TV, and it only worked properly for about 2 hours. After this time, the digital service stopped working, so I could only watch analogue. The Toshiba helpline told me that this was a known problem that their engineers are working on, and to return the TV. I don’t know what proportion of their stock are affected, but we will not be trying another set to find out. BUY WITH CAUTION.

Received in less than a day…Set up is easy…cant comment on the tv picture as bedroom tv with no reception…(thanks screwfix building…)but the dvd picture is superb…really crisp…sound is very good..not that loud so probably not for use as a main room tv but for a bedroom very very good indeed…
Feels well made with nice action on the dvd slot - robust but smooth…
Not a noisy dvd either..
Well worth the money..
